Carbon utilization is an emerging frontier for clean energy and manufacturing. With the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the enhanced 45Q tax credit, carbon capture, and direct air capture are expected to scale significantly in the coming decade. Once captured, carbon dioxide can be permanently sequestered or repurposed to produce fuels, concrete, plastics, and even shoes.
