ACT-IAC EVOLVING THE WORKFORCE COI FEBRUARY 2024

Join the ACT-IAC Evolving the Workforce COI member meeting on February 27, 2024 featuring a fireside chat with the US Digital Corps ON workforce talent recruitment and retention.
The US Digital Corps was founded in August 2021 by the Biden-Harris Administration in an effort to help attract early-career technology talent to the Federal workspace. The challenges to the Federal workforce are major: only 7% of the Federal workforce is under the age of 30, while 15% is currently eligible to retire, and roughly 30% of the Federal workforce will be eligible to retire within the next 5 years. When our Government faces workforce challenges, it affects all citizens. We have invited the U.S. Digital Corps for a fireside chat with one of the founders, Maria “Masha” Danilova (INVITED), and a Fellow, Anjenica “Nikki” Ramos (INVITED).
Event moderator, Samara Schulman, will guide us through a conversation to discuss the pertinent issues of recruitment, employee experience, program goals, and gathering/implementing feedback. You will learn how the US Digital Corps is solving vexing talent challenges, and what incoming Fellows are experiencing as they join Federal service.
